Laverne 

Laverne – Laverne is the daughter of Gunner and Abby, and she holds a special place here as the very first female we ever kept from their litters. She’s also the inseparable best friend of Shirley. Although they came from separate litters, they were born the same day and the two of them have been side by side since they were puppies.

Laverne has a joyful, welcoming personality. She almost always greets me with a stick in her mouth, ready to start a game of fetch at any moment. She’s a true people dog and absolutely loves when we have visitors. Her enthusiasm and warmth make her one of the dogs that guests remember most.

She was the pick of her litter, and she remains one of the best selections I’ve ever made. Laverne is incredibly loving and has an endless amount of affection to give. She brings a lot of heart to Big Lake Goldens and continues to represent her parents’ line with pride.
