Joanie – Joanie is the daughter of Gunner and Abby, and the sister of Pinky. She’s one of the second-generation females we chose to keep from that line, and she carries all the traits we loved in her parents—kindness, loyalty, and a steady temperament.

Joanie is a very submissive, very sweet girl. She’s always eager to please and remains one of my personal favorites. Whether we’re inside or out in the yard, she likes to stay close and follow along as I work. She has a quiet way of helping with chores, always watching and staying near without getting in the way. It’s just part of who she is.

As a mother, Joanie produces very dark, beautiful puppies. Her first litter with Max was exceptional—deep red coats and wonderful personalities—and we expect more of the same as she continues her time in the program.

Joanie brings a calm, gentle energy to the group and is one of those dogs who makes daily life better just by being around. She’s a wonderful part of Big Lake Goldens.
